Following a recent visit to the Brighton Toy Museum, Banbury Connections has acquired a kit built ex-GWR Giant Van and an ex-SR Maunsell open second. These vehicles have been extensively tested on the Bungleweed National Railway under the supervision of the GM for International Benchmarking who has approved them for main line running. Both vehicles are now en route to Australia via our Berkshire distribution centre (relatives house)!

The new S15 locomotive 30830 arrived today for its initial steam up which took place at Shrewsbury!!! . Its looking good. Earlier , the other new locomotive in the depot , a pristine Class 37 Diesel, purred quietly past on its initial run to London Marylebone. The driver reported it to be a delight to drive at slow and express pace.
Meanwhile at Nottingham the phones have been out , but the postal service/phone van has been seen outside the station. |
BRED (Banbury Connections Rolling Stock and Engineering Department)The rolling stock update is produced by BRED and looks at changes and repairs of notable interest to the Banbury Connections fleet. Some past projects can be found under the resources section of the website. If you are curious about the performance of a particular locomotive feel free to contact us and I will endeavour to provide a fair assessment of any models we own. Archives
