A group of NMRA members recently paid a visit to Banbury Connections whilst on a joint viewing of several nearby layouts. The video below, kindly filmed by Gerry Hopkins, includes footage of Banbury Connections, The Newcastle and Fassifern Railway and the Kansas City Subdivision. Between them, these layouts capture a wide cross section of railway modelling interests spanning three continents, several methods of operation and varying degrees of technological input! It is interesting to think about how history could have been very different had BR's APT been introduced into mainline operation.
